In November of 1994, Kyle Hedquist executed teenager Nikki Thrasher in cold blood and dumped her body along a road. He was sentenced to life without parole, but was released back onto the streets early by former Governor Kate Brown. Then Salem City Councilor Mai Vang voted not once but TWICE to re-appoint Kyle Hedquist onto the city's Police Review Board, knowingly putting your safety in the hands of a convicted murderer. When Mai Vang asks for your vote for Salem City Council (Ward 6), remember we can't trust her to keep us safe. Vote NO on Mai Vang.
