Announcing Our Endorsed Candidates for the Salem-Keizer School Board!

MEET THE CANDIDATES

Zone 1: Kari Zohner

Kari is a former coach in the district so she knows our students well. She has also stepped up to substitute teach when there was no one to fill in the gaps for local kids. She currently works as a realtor and has two boys in Salem-Keizer schools.

Zone 3: Linda Farrington 

Linda has spent years volunteering for our schools and students and worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. Linda has even served on the Salem-Keizer Budget Committee and Bond Oversight Committee.

Zone 5: Mike Slagle

Mike is a working-class parent and Air Force Veteran whose family has lived in the area for over 150 years. Mike currently coaches and serves as a sports official at games throughout the district.

Zone 7: Liam Collins

As a foster parent, Liam knows firsthand how many students are struggling without the resources they need to succeed. Liam worked his way up to managing a large team in the logistics business, which gives him a great perspective for improving school district operations.
